We made the short trek (1 hour) from Ballycroneen to Blarney today and entered the castle grounds. As we arrived just after a couple of tour buses we walked around the grounds for a couple of hours before lining up to climb the tower and plant a smooch.
Everyone kissed it! That everyone being Catia, Alex, Kristin, Jordan, Cassidy, Felix and I. Felix is under 8 yrs old and a posted sign said he might not be able to kiss it if the operator said no. They let him- whew! Fit avoided.
Nobody has said I’m more eloquent yet.
